About Kim Kallmann
Educational Background
Kim is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) in the state of Illinois and Ohio. Kim holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis University with a specialty in children and adolescents, and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Bradley University. Kim has further training as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and has worked with adolescents and adults with addictions across many settings.
Work Experience
Kim has worked in the field in a variety of settings as a psychotherapist and chemical dependency counselor. As part of Maryville Academy’s Scott Nolan Center and the Wells Center Kim provided individual and group counseling to adolescent males with a dual diagnosis. At the Center for Alcohol and Drug Services Kim worked with young adults and adults who had received a DUI. At Pilsen Wellness Center, Kim worked with mentally ill adults in an outpatient setting. Kim has taught at the undergraduate level at Lewis University and has been in private practice since 2009.
